Hi, My Blackberry 9900 kept freezing and would work after waiting for about 2 Minutes, Something like this happened recently, I let the phone freeze for 2 Minutes but did not solve anything, I plucked out the battery and inserted it back but the phone would not start up.

Phone is not being detected at all by the PC
Bought new battery but phone would still not start up!

    Solutions?

A few of my friends have had the same problem- working for a long amount of time perfectly, then suddenly won't boot up. New genuine batteries haven't worked either. Think its just a general error with the 9900 unfortunately. Such a shame as it is such a good device.

The device has no light at all! It is completely dead! Nothing works. Even the link which was provided above, In the VIDEO he has a white screen, I do not have any screen, It's a fully non-functioning device now..

I think you first need to try get some charge in the device best via wall outlet or docking station and leave it for a few hours.
Then hold the power button and see if you get some life.
You can also try taking out your sim and memory card

I have the same issue with my9900.
I know you are all trying to be helpful but he has NO POWER, WILL NOT CONNECT OR BE RECOGNISED BY A COMPUTER. Why keep posting links that do not address his and and my problem??? Apploader does NOT work if the phone can not be detected.

Nothing posted here seems to solve this problem or for the most part any other site.

If I have to get a replacement, and pay for it as it is just out of warranty by a couple months, I frankly am having a hard time convincing myself it will be worth chancing Blackberry again. I know the last sentence is part of venting but you would think someone would have a solution, it's apparently not a new or isolated issue. With the state of the company in recent months you would think they would try and keep those that are still with them happy. In my iphone days Apple replaced the phone out of warranty for a broken mute switch! Looked at it and out came the new one. Anyway.....back to seeking a solution.

My husband had the same issue. He had the white screen first, then that disappeared. Luckily I had just gotten my Q10 and my 9900 was still working ,so he is using it.
