All of a sudden last week, my Blackberry 9900 started to freeze up and act slow. This has been a perfect phone so far, I was freaking out knowing I have so much important content there that I just can not lose. I took out the sim card, freezing stopped/everything went perfect - it's just I couldn't use it because you cant use the Wifi WITHOUT A sim. So my problem/question here is -IS IT POSSIBLE that BBs can lag down by the sim card reader being broken or the Sim being broken?

I can't stand the BB classic. The hub is so cluttered, you cant turn off your Gmail drafts - and your Gmail drafts don't sync 2 ways (my drafts never synced to my BB 9900, which was perfect because I prefer drafts to be something I access on gmail.com, not my mobile device!)

Do you think I should just buy another 9900? What would you do?

I have no problem accessing WiFi without a SIM card installed in either my 9780, 9900, or Q10. Did you try to reset it (i.e., battery pull)? Turn off WiFi and then turn it on to re-poll hotspots?
