I have a 9900 bold with the newest official AT&T software. Ive had this problem on the previous software version i had installed too. Throughout the day my phone will stop working. The signal bars will stay on, but if someone calls it goes straight to VM. Emails and txts dont go thru. If i try to make a call or send an email/txt it fails. Im resorted to either restarting the phone or turning the antenna off then back on. This is real frustrating because i wont know my phone stopped working until i realize "wait a sec, i havent gotten a phone call/txt in a while..." then i restart and all the missed emails/txts/vm come thru. What can i do to fix this? I run a business from my phone and cant afford to have disruption of service like this. Please help me, thank guys!

try a different sim card or swap your phone if youre still under warrenty

Resend service books. Or call your carrier and have them pushed. Did you do a batt pull after updating? Soft reboot may also help.
