hi, i'm new to BB. Currently i'm using BB 9900, OS v7.0.0.474.

Once in a while, when i was working on something, BB screen will pop up an annoying message like ...

" initializing application"
" checking for updates "
" connecting to email settings "

Normally it happened in the morning. It also happened at OS v7.0.0.261.
I selected "contacts" and "deleted items" under the synchronization option for both my hotmail and yahoo email account.

Do you guys have the similar problem? Anyway to solve this ? thanks

i only get this when i actually try to go into email settings.

it is not normal.

i am so obsessive compulsive on phone issues and this would drive me nuts if i had it.

try to update to the newest leaked os 7.0.0.585

when u finish upgrading ur os make sure to resend the service books and register the host routing table.. maybe it will work im not sure either or just try to resend the service books without upgrading ur os..
