    Hi there, sorry if this is a silly question but I put my blackberry 9900 on the table the other day and my metal hair clips stuck to the back of it!! Anything metal does the same! Why???!!!

    Yes the lower half of the phone just below the battery door is magnetic.

    So nothing to do with the NFC? I'm sorry to be annoying but I kinda wanna know exactly WHY its magnetic. I guess its not deliberate?

    It has the speaker there at the bottom tight under battery cover, That's MAGNET and this is why it sticks to metal
