long story but my phone just got back from repair, its waiting at telus for me. And my battery and battery cover is down a cliff with my truck up a logging road, not shur when ill be able to get that back and if i have to use this pearl loner phone any longer im goona snap.

I grabbed one of these extra batteries and a back cover for cheap and didnt realise it has to have some coding process with the old battery. what the is this for? What if I dont have the original battery.

@.@ you need to borrow a oem battery
but every time you restart, you might need to copy the code over again

or simply buy another oem battery from ebay, just careful of which seller you choose, cost about $25USD

so even know this has research in motion on it, and looks identical its not actually an original battery? I dont even want it then, stupid crap. Ill just pay 50$ for a replacement from telus. I cant wait for ebay shipping
