Hi there! Im turning my bb bold 9930 white, and have everything ordered...But i just read feedback on trying to swap your digitizer over yourself(all bad) so Im just going to order a new WHITE lcd assembly....there are two versions available tho...how do I know which to get without taking my bold apart?

On the back of the LCD should be a part number. There are two version of LCD so you will need to match the number.

Thanks for the reply! I dont have any tools yet, so I was hoping there was a way without taking it apart so I could get everything here together. Thanks again for the info!

You don't. You must take the phone apart and look at the part number.

I love white, and I would especially love a white BB! *grins* still love it black tho! Incidentally....The LCD ended up being a 002/111....that is a VERIZON BB Bold 9930...I wouldnt imagine they would put different ones in that phone line (IE, VERIZON BB 9930) So hopefully, that will help anybody else with this problem! *Grins*

They have different screens in any line which is why it has to be taken apart to be sure.

You have to open it and remove the LCD on the back it will say 001 or 002, its the only way to know.

I found the tools I needed at the local hardware store ( the t5 was interesting to find LOL) and I opened It up and figured it out...*grins* parts are on their way...thanks guys!
