So if you meant there is no real differences, what would you advise ? the .439 being official?
I also checked ate the .440 forum, if it would include the Arabic, and will work with Vodafone Egypt, and the answer was yes provided I delete the vendors file. Can I assume the same here ?

Well I'll give this a shot purely because it has japanese input.

Hope the trackpad fade is still there and the battery life is as good as .440!

For some reason I have not been able to download any new updates on this 9900
I delete the vendor xml file click the apploader and the only things that come up
Are my third party installed items and then it says no update

Any ideas

I have heard about all the issues with 440 and the trackpad. But with my phone I get the screen and keyboard light fade out first and then the keys and then the trackpad. So it is just as it was before.

This may seemingly be a dumb question; however, since the dumbest is the one not asked, here goes. I've heard rumblings that 9900 downloads don't quite work on 9930's. Can any one confirm or deny this?

They're two different devices, won't work. There will be seperate files for the 9900 and 9930.

Wow I didn't even know there was a 440 leak. I've been running the out-the-box 261 for the past month now. I was thinking of upgrading to 353 but the reviews basically said it sucks. I'm watching here to see which version is better by popular concensus..lol..either this official 439 or the leaked 4440. Someone that has experienced both lemme know please.

there is a second vendor xml file on your computer .. do a search for it as i cant remember where its placed

I can tell you .353 has been awesome for me. So good, in fact, I may not upgrade to another OS at all. I know this may be a moot point for you now, but I'm just sayin'.
