It helps a lot if you read thoroughly before posting an answer. He clearly asked if it'll wipe media on the device memory not a media card.

To answer your question the answer is yes. If you wipe the device you'll lose everything stored on it. Anything that's on your memory card, though, will remain untouched.

I still struggle with shrinking an OS. Every time I try, I end up with an error and a brick for a phone.

For some reason, I cannot switch to 2G (EDGE) - I don't have good 3G receiption at home... Also, I charged my phone over night as I always do, but was only able to use it for about 30 min this morning and the battery died....

You can't go wrong with BBHybrids Tool as it won't let you remove anything you shouldn't.

I don't know who you think you are fooling but I think everyone can see right through your guise. Trolling is not cool here or anywhere else.

I installed the OS and boy is my 9900 running snappy!!!!! I had to upgrade my BBID software but everything else was the same. I am so happy!!!! I don't know what issues everyone else is having but my 9900 has never run any smoother.
