    Thanks Rroyy!
Updated just a couple of hours ago at about 5:00PM with no issues really. Just finished up registering all my apps and such.

I am glad that the app modules have been updated recently in this build (1-11-13) so GTalk, FaceBook, Twitter and the like needed no upgrades.
I had no issues logging into Google Maps, and didn't have to downgrade/upgrade, so maybe that whole fiasco has been resolved. I haven't followed up on that.

The only things I found was that this OS would not allow me to port over KaGlom. Stating the license was invalid. It was a free version I had for a long time from device to device, but I can deal with it, or purchase it. I also don't know why they only included the older version of v7.1 BBID just to ask to be upgraded to the currently required v7.3? If the other app modules are so current at 6 days, why can't they include the current version of BBID?!?!

Wow!!! My battery is lasting 28 days and this is the best breakfast making OS ever!!!

Google have fixed their Maps issue. You can now install it straight from their site, and the Accept option now works fine.

I just downloaded 825 from RIM via rroyy's link in Post #1.
The DL took less than 5 minutes, hovering between 1.0-1.4 MB/s for majority of time.
Just an FYI for those concerned about DL speeds being bad.

So what are you waiting for people?!?

Hmmm. I did not need an upgrade at all, and I was not prompted from AppWorld to do so like it normally would do when logged in after an upgrade.
When I check they are both still the same versions I had previously installed. The app modules have been updated for them only 6 days ago.
v3.3.0.11 and v 4.0.0.15 respectively. Those are the latest correct? Weird.

Yeah, as far as GMaps, I never followed up on that situation ever since the fix was posted. Glad it's over with.

I downloaded this right when rroy posted it on twitter from my HH, onto my SD card. Download speed on ATT H+ took roughly 10 minutes(gotta love those grandfathered unlimited data plans )

Strange indeed, and those are the latest versions.
I couldn't actually find App World after the update, so I installed it from mobile.blackberry.com and when I opened it, it showed updates for both Facebook and Twitter. I didn't actually check to see which versions were originally installed, but they are now the latest ones.
And my BBID didn't require updating like it usually does after an update.

Nope, both use different OS builds. The radio files (and some cod files) are not compatible between the two.

    Yup. Eight and a Quarter.
When loading through AppLoader, I click on the core/system update and then click modules...
On that screen you can see the changes about to be made.
Coming from .794 I already had the v7.3 BBID from an OTA update I did a while ago.
But the original BBID on .794 is v7.1. It is also v7.1 on v.825, so I had to update my BBID OTA again.

You can probably just hook up to DM and click the Applications button and you will see the system asking you to downgrade.
Click on the "I" (Info) on the downgrade and scroll down to BBID and you will see the original OS version (v7.1) I'm talking about.
As you know, you don't have to carry through, it's just so you can see.
