it's the same as upgrading and os, but you downgrade.

uninstall .794 and install .746, then simply initiate the apploader or which ever way you upgraded ur os. but it will ask you, do you want to wipe phone and do a clean install of the older os OR do you want to keep everything, just replace the newer os with the older on? you say the latter unless you want to wipe your device. The rest of the install is as usual.

    and that's it.

Yah, but I should have clarified that downgrading apparently will not fix the problem so the problem is with google maps, not the OS.

installed yesterday (had been using berylicious att hybrid) in NYC and had the att mic issue all along. This works perfectly NO mic issue and is very snappy and so far no issues at all.

You can use .794 as the base OS for the latest BL Untimate build released yesterday, RC10A1

If the base .794 does not give you the Mic Issue then the hybrid should be fine too.

If I load this OS on my unlocked AT&T Bold 9900, would I have the option of turning on ONLY "2G"? NOT the "3G/4G/ & 2G" option.

Because the newest AT&T OS removed this feature for some odd reason.

This is not a function of the OS. It is from AT&T.

bimmerdriver- do you mean that this OS has the feature I'm talking about? lol, I don't understand what you mean, because the OS I loaded 7.1.0.74 is AT&T but has the feature, but the newest one didn't, that's why I had to downgrade. I only need to upgrade, with the 2G feature, because they PlayBook bridge doesn't work with the current OS I have loaded for some reason.

So if anyone has this OS loaded on AT&T and can tell me if you can switch to only 2G under Network Mode, that would be greatly appreciated.

    @Stillmatic718
what @bimmerdriver try to say is, OS has nothing to do with locking signal option (2G/3G), but more by the carrier which in this case is AT&T.

If you want to try some of newest os that can works well with AT&T in matter os signal locking. either you can try yourself every new os and find one that works, or you can try the BL hybrid that has special hybrid for AT&T user.

hope it will clear you. forgive me if I'm wrong.

Installed yesterday night. Everything seems to be okay!

Just a question. Now we can set the led color thru the OS without any third party app. But it looks like we can set it just for calls and messages, not for BBM too. Right?

Everything is working fine.. Except for the battery life. In 4 hours, my battery went from 100% to 49%. Terrible. Should I downgrade to another OS? Can someone tell me what OS I should downgrade to? :| Stable with good battery life for heavy usage. Thanks a lot.

Yeah, i found that. Unfortunately you just can set a color for BBM messages coming in, but not a color for each BBM contact. You can do this just thru BeBuzz (whose last versione I've just installed but it now doesn't "see" any of my BBM contacts. Yuck).

This update seems to have bricked my phone. Don't know what to do. Fortunately I backed up everything. The phone gets stuck on the startup screen and then after about 15 minutes goes to a white screen that says "error: reset". Then I press reset and it starts up again with the same results. I've tried doing a battery pull but that does not fix anything.

Looks like the sequence of accented letters has changed (I'm italian and I write in italian, so I need accented letters) and before getting to the desired letter, I have to scroll the trackpad a lot.
