You got to really want to use Blackberry to get a brand new 9900 at the moment. There will also be a steep learning curve for those who are used to Iphone's simplicity. The apps are less polished, and some things are less intiutive but if you think you can adapt fast you should go for it.

Otherwise you are better off keeping your Iphone and holding out until the first BB10 devices hit.

Well I'm a bb guy first and have missed it since leaving. I had the pearl, curve, and storm beforehand. Just trying to figure out how to get the 9900 used or new cheaper to tie me over until bb10. I'm sick of the iPhones inferior communication qualities not to mention getting voicemail notifications but no phone rings on AT&T.

    Recommendations needed....

Have an iphone 4 on AT&T with 2 months left on contract. I'd like to get over to Verizon but assuming BB10 hits next year would want to upgrade. To further complicate matters...I'd prefer the white 9900 that isn't sold at AT&T nor Verizon. What should I do?
I say go for the white Bold on At&t or T-Mobile (im soo jealous by the way.. i really want one in white ). Try looking for one on Ebay to save your upgrade.

you got the best BlackBerry for your first one...I've had almost every BlackBerry and the 9900 is by far a BlackBerry lover's dream phone.

My first Berry was the Pearl, but I only used it for the internet and texting, I had a Motorola SLVR for phone calls haha. Then I got the 8800, which at the time had the best keyboard. That's when I dumped the Motorola and used a BlackBerry for everything. That was in ..2007..and it's 2012 I have no plans to leave BlackBerry!

Hopefully you too become a fan and stick around BlackBerry land for years to come
