Well everyone... I just got my Bold 9930 from Verizon and am making the switch from my Storm2.

I was really waiting/holding out out for the Torch 9850 (because I am a BIG fan of full touch screen) but I read too many articles saying the Bold is the way to go, so let's see if I can take a real keyboard. And the Torch doesn't have the SurePress

Any advice or tips to make my transition easier?

First of all, congrats. Just play with it...since your coming from bberry it shouldn't be that hard for you to get it the way you want it. Also, i also really liked surepress.

I loved surepress. Just got my 9850 today. Have spent a few hours setting it up and have only accidentally launched a few apps. Lol. I think I am loving it. As I do my PlayBook. Can't wait for BB10. Looked at the 9900 but realized I am not a physical keyboard guy. Cheers and see ya on the next platform.


My storm 2 was 2.5years old and just about to crap out. Rapid Fire Louie. Lol.
