Well did not know there was an update. Just checked on Blackberry 9930 software updates and it was there. Downloading as we speak.
Should I install?

No reason not to.
downloading now. 39MB.
It not showing up for me....
Got a link?
BlackBerry Bold® 9930 using Tapatalk of course. ;)
not weird at all, my friend saw the update on his computer and it doesn't show for me. Weird implementation....maybe so it doesn't overload the servers?
Waiting for the PC download is probably the way to go. OTA takes hours and hours....
Can't wait for mine! I haven't had any problems, I just want the newest build!

In the process of updating OTA. What if I need to rollback? Where is the back-up file stored? Or is there a set of instructions already out there? I usually have updated using the apploader.
Thanks.
We know its not the cure but it may almost be the fix. I mean
will the percentage be lower for bricking and if so by how much,
My .374 is flawlwss only fear motivates me to update. I am sure the issue is not even close to being fixed.
7.1 is not the fix and i'm starting to ramble
:cool:I just plugged in to DM to get the update, didnt have the patience for OTA
just found mine!!! lets update!
just finished the update via PC. Everything went well..will be back for a update about any issues i may come across. @ImTalknBoutIt
I wish mobile hotspot was free
Downloading ota. Thanks for the heads up!
Anyone running 7.1 without the battery drop issue where the display drops to 90%?
If you need to roll back, just run apploader - if you do this update OTA then apploader will load the same OS it did last time you used it. Assuming it was for your current device of course; if not, download the OS you want and procede as you normally would.
Anyone have a link to the Apploader version?
Can someone please post the file online for download for us bricked folks who are praying this will somehow revive our phone
Why not try the Sprint version, it's the same?
i already tried that on my bricked VRZ 9930 im just hoping some way that this one might actually fix it? im at the end of the rope desperate buddy, i need to try everything
Well, still has the drop to 92. Silly me thought something would change in the Verizon version (I know it is the same build).
I may inquire with Verizon and just see what happens.

I'm skipping this update. The Sprint version had too many issues, and the battery life seems better with 7.0.374. I'll hold tight until the next leak or approved version.
Been using this for about 24 hours now. Not seeing really anything vastly different. Battery life seems about the same compared to what I was running (.374). I have noticed a little bit more lag but not anything major that hinders the use of the device. So far I would say that if you are happy with the build you are running go ahead and skip this update, unless I am missing something which I don't think I am.

Just got it too ... Anyone try ota?
Just finished installing via OTA. Noticed a bit of sluggishness, but still doing battery pulls. Way too early to tell on battery yet.
