Default issues with Beats headphones

Anyone using Beats headphones with their Bold?

Recently got my 9930 and sound only comes on the left side. I know its not my headphones as it works fine with any other media player other than my 9930.

I'm using the original AUX cable that comes with the headphones. It has built-in mic with answer/end button.

What could it be?

Is the plug not able to fit into the jack all the way?

Mine work fine.

I will admit, the sound is a bit lower when I use my beats with my 9930 than when I use them with my iPod Touch, iPad or Mac... but the sound is coming out both ears.

my beats tour works fine with 9900. It had some issues working with my 9780. I had read in some old posts that the bb bold made in mexico work fine with these headphone. Not sure if thats true in case of 9900 series

My beats headphones work just fine with my 9900. The volume is okay, same as my iPod Touch. And i have sound in both sides. Sorry but i think your bold needs repairing.

Ok it work now on both ears but sometime it goes south! But its day by day. One day it works in full stereo, next morning I plug it in and only get sound on left again!!!!

Try just using the red wire that came with the headphones. If it works fine, it could be the black wire and not the hardware of the phone. I noticed when i used the black wire, i had some sound issues. Toggle with the wire where the built in mic is.

its a known issue with the over the ear beats by dr. dre. i believe from what i read that it was the cable that comes in the box. I've experienced the same problem and youre right sometimes it will work and sometimes it wont

I'd try another cable if possible, maybe the one without the 'control talk' ? That's the one i usually use, but they both work fine for me.

I have the same issue with using my 9900 & Beats Studio headphones. I find that I do not get this issue if I turn on the power button after I plug the cable into my 9900.

Strange, but works every time for me that way.

no wire needed. Problem solved.
