Default iPhone 5 drops calls back to BB 9900

So here is the story .. I got the iPhone 5 on launch day and I was pretty jazzed to try something new as most people are and well out of the box it seamed to have weak signal in the Rogers store but eh its like that in most stores. I thought nothing of it .. on my way home I had the phone in plain view on the highway and it still was 2-3 bars. I got home and people were calling me it seemed fine then out of no where it would drop the call. So I called back few minutes go by .. drops a call again couple days like this I go back to the rogers store, replace the phone. Same thing happened - I took it on the road to Ottawa, and to Toronto and a few other places .. weak signal after almost 45-50 dropped calls in the last month I was sick and tired of this .. I have tried other devices like Galaxy S3, Motorola HD LTE, nexus etc. but nothing dropped calls like the iPhone 5, the 4S was not even that bad or any where close.

I am on the road a lot and well - I need the device to work, Phone, Email, basic information apps, twitter etc. BlackBerry BB 9900 has always been the best in that area so instead of getting another less reliable device that does a million things but make calls. Here we are until BB 10 that is :-)

Too bad it was dropping so many calls. Is that a known issue with them? Maybe just your area?

None the less it's good to have you back.

It may be an issue, it was in multiple locations .. I also hate hate hate apple mail .. total garbage - its slow and un organized - nothing makes sense compared to how its done in BlackBerry. Its not only the dropped calls its the terrible signal .. In places where I could barely keep signal on iPhone 5 I had 5 bars with BB 9900. Granted there are always dead spots on the highway in different areas but this was all the time with the iPhone 5.

I've heard that iphones tend to drop more calls, I'm sure it depends on the location. Anyway welcome back, we'll all wait on BB10 together.
