Default iPhone 4 to BB9900, A few questions

I use my phone for facebook, texting more than apps and gimmicky stuff, I have a few questions regarding Blackberry

First of all, is there a way I can sync my contacts so that when I get my Blackberry I can hook it up to my iMac and just sync them over?

Also is there anyway to put podcasts on a 9900?

    Thanks
    Jon

    Hi,

If you sync your iPhone contacts to the iMac address book then Blackberry desktop manager should be able to pull them down from there.

And podcasts you should be able to drop onto your phone or sync through Blackberry Desktop manager for Mac

There is a built in app for podcasts, you can find it under social feeds.

I believe DM for Mac will sync your contacts, or if you have a gmail account you can wirelessly sync

The notification system on a BlackBerry is fantastic! You should be very pleased with it.

I have owned a 9700 in the past, the notification system on BB is MUCH better!

Every one comes in as soon as it happens instead of maybe 5 minutes later or sometimes never on the iPhone!

Notifications on the BB are better compare to the iPhone, email in the iPhone IMO is better than BB but overall with this new BBs (9930/9900) you should be good

Notifications on BB with Facebook have generally been much better IMO, Facebook's iPhone app is hit or miss.

Just switched from an iPhone 4 too. It's amazing what this blackberry can do when you're more of a texter than anything else.

Do what I do and set your convenience key to "Messages". That gives you one-button access to your unified inbox where any notification you receive will go. Just be sure to change the options to include SMS (it's excluded by default for some reason).
