Internet is so slow on BB Bold 9900 A&T
I just upgraded my phone to BB Bold 9900 and I have noticed that Internet is very very slow without wifi... Sometimes page doesnt even load up.. Funny thing is, once the page do load up after a long time, any web sites after that loads up very quickly! But then it doesn't last long until I have to wait 2-4 minutes for a web site to load up...
I don't know what the issue is... Internet is fast on Wifi...
Anybody have a similar issue?
Thank you in advance - 06-02-2012, 11:30 PM #2
Been having this same issue all day. Maybe there is a coverage outage or BIS issue going around.

if verizon users and att users are experiencing same internet speed problem, then i'm assuming it has something to do with RIM?

I have been having this problem for several days now and tried different OSes to no avail. The problem for me has been on both wifi and 4G. It does seem to have gotten faster all the sudden like chewblock just said. I also had issues with the scrolling (even on fully loaded pages) being slow and jerky and had the problem with several OSes, but the problem has gone away after going back to 7.1.0.318 Official from Docomo Japan. Scrolling is super smooth now, but have just had the problem with the pages loading really slow.

Several days of slow interner on VZW 9650. Getting communication errors too. Assuming it's BIS

Been crawling for me off and on since yesterday on Sprint as well. It works well for a few minutes and then drags again or I get a communication error. Something's up.

@ Chewblock - I believe the scrolling issue was an OS issue. What OS are u running?

Seems across many carriers intermittently. At least it's not a complete service failure.

Yeah, it's a little annoying but not too big a deal. Mine seems fine now. It's come and go.

another funny thing is I downloaded Opera Browser and it does everything that BB Browser can't do at the moment... so I'm guessing it has something to do with BB browser.. try Opera and it will load everything fast
