Interesting article... Maybe thats the reason for the delays.
Even though models are circulating around with os7, it's always possie (though only slightly) that RIM has kept everything internal and there are devices to be release that we have never heard of.

I don't see this as possible. They may be trying to speed up qnx handset availability to as early in 2012 as possible, but OS7 phones will be BBOS and not qnx.

RIM is incapable of delivering qnx on phones this year.

It sounds like they're working with outdated information or misunderstood something somewhere... I highly doubt Metro would have the exclusive on this story.
