Hi there,

Has anyone seen the issue of sporadic insertion of Dollar signs and full stops when texting or emailing? (Blackberry Bold 9900)

Apart from asking people to do a batter pull, I'm unsure where to go with this?

Any pointers are very welcome.

Have you spilled anything on the keyboard. Your issue is on those 2 adjacent keys something sticky. Also your shift key has issues. Under warranty? New keyboard would probably fix.

If you double tap the space bar, it will type a fullstop followed by a space. I recently noticed that when I am typing really fast this often happens.

Also, speed typing has led to the insertion of dollar signs. When trying to hit the right shift followed by the alt key, i accidentally hit the sym key followed by the z key.

Maybe that's what happened.

The same thing happens to me with periods. I think my spacebar has become very worn in, so it registers spacebar presses twice.
