My phone used to have about 100 MB of app storage space but lately has slowy dropped to about 60MB. I haven't installed any new apps.

I was wondering if undeleted emails might be amounting to the decrease in internal memory. Do emails with attachments take up more space even though the attachment isn't downloaded? If I view an attachment instead of saving and downloading is there a way of clearing cache once the email is deleted?

Isn't that what they call memory leak? If you reboot it should be back up.

Sorry I wasn't clear before. After a batt pull I'm still down at 60. I've lost 40mb of useable storage.

Maybe the log files are causing this. Perhaps clear logs and see what happens...

What happens when you delete your email? Also, do you have them set do delete after 15 days, 30 days, etc, or keep permanently?

Didn't think those took up more than a few kb at most. Having said that, space is space, can't hurt to clear them.

use device optimiser on advance os and led to clear out your memory, event log and flush your memory daily and also delete some emails and texts they do take up quite a bit when you have around 10-20 days worth

How did you get so low? I would suggest a wipe and a fresh start.

Go to Options, select Device and Status Information, press Menu, and select Database Sizes. You'll find the size of all your user databases, including attachments. Some of these, the Content Store for example, can get quite large over time. You can clear them using Desktop Manager.

Haha that did it. I had about 85MB worth of MMS messages...that's what a new baby does to your messaging! I deleted a bunch and now I'm at 130mb free.

    Thanks for the help!

Whoa... 85mb of MMS!! Yes, baby pictures tend to eat up a lot of space, and the parents don't even realise how many pictures they've taken of their new born baby...
