My 9930 is a great phone and has the best keyboard ever made.

But, I'm getting REALLY tired of straining to read text and click links in the browser. I'm tired of viewing my photos on the tiny screen. I'm tired of the small view in map and traffic apps. Youtube and personal videos are also a joke on the 9930 as well.

Will I miss the 9930 keyboard? Yes. Will I be able to type as well on a full touchscreen? Probably not. Do I think the additional screen real estate will be worth giving up the keyboard? OH YEAH!

I'm so happy BB10 is on track for Q1 release. I'll be jumping on the full touchscreen device as soon as it hits my carrier. My 9930 has been good to me, but size DOES matter and it's time to move on.

Sure it does matter, however it always boils down to individual needs. For example I've used larger screened devices like the Nokia E7 (4"), HTC Desire Z (3,7") or HTC Touch Pro 2 (3,6") but surprisingly going way down to 2,8" of the Bold wasn't that bad at all. As you might notice those previous devices have been landscape-oriented sliders and I found the "always there" keyboard really nice. So after all the combination of smaller screen and that keyboard got me hooked up.

Yet I can understand everyone who prefers a larger screen. Actually I hope we'll see a Torch 9810 successor with a 3,7-4,1" screen. That should be possible to create.
