Wiping will remove whatever OS you currently have on the phone..
After wiping the phone will not boot until you load a different os, so ensure that the OS you want to load is installed on your PC .. then you can load the new OS..
BTW what method will you be using to Wipe ?Before you criticize someone, walk a mile in their shoes, so when you criticize them, you're a mile away and you have their shoes.

BBSAK or BBHToolS will wipe the phone. Or using Loader to install a new OS will do the same.

Before you wipe by any means, make sure that you do a Backup with Desktop Manager as this will safeguard your data.
Using the Loader is by far the easiest way to wipe your phone of its OS.
You will need to download and install the OS you want on your phone before you start. Make sure that the OS you want on your phone is the ONLY one installed on your PC.
If this sounds confusing, please come back here and ask for help. - 07-06-2012, 02:16 PM #9
