ok i really don't like creating new threads if its absolutely necessary to do so.this time its important to know.lets say for keepsakes at&t carries the 9790.now that raises the question the 9790 being a superior bold over 9900.lets face it the 9900 lacks an autofocus camera which a lot of folks need in daily life.so if you were put in this position, would opt for the 9790 over 9900?for me,im going to play with the new berries and the highly anticipated i5/i4s before making my decision.(yea im just too excited for my new phone, its finally going to happen hooray!)but i raise this question because i have seen multiple threads about how people are complaining about battery life, camera, etc on the 9900/9930.maybe it was rushed to the market too soon.i know the coming days for at&t folks are going to get very excited.i know a lot of people personally that are waiting on the i5.its anticipation is like category 3 of hurricane irene .but i know a lot of people who are loyal to bb as well.but these questions are good to ponder over.

9900/9930 is a great device. it was not rushed. isnt the 9790 smaller? how would it be a superior phone over 9900/9930? because of 9900/9930 not having auto-focus.....no way. everyone has preference...dont see a significant difference between both phones

I think the difference would come down to form factor because personally, I prefer the 9700 form factor over the 9000. If they made the 9790 the same size as the 9900 but with the 9700 form factor, I would buy it in a heartbeat.

I agree...but that doesn't make 9790 superior over 9900...like u said it all boils down to preference
