Hello,

Having a problem with my 9900. I do no receive bbm messages if I am on the phone. When I hang up the phone, the bbm messages get "D" one-two seconds after. I am on the Rogers network.

Does anyone know what the problem is? Settings or network?

I believe it has to do with the network, there is nothing that you can do really...but if you are connected to wi-fi at the time off the call the BBM messages will go through without any problem.

Do you have 3G or EDGE? Simultaneous voice / data requires 3G.

What carrier is your device branded to? If it was originally from Wind Mobile, Mobilicity, or T-Mobile, it will not get 3G on Rogers, so simultaneous voice / data will not be possible.

SPNKr is correct. If you are using WiFi, you can still do simultaneous voice / data even when the mobile network connection is EDGE.

I have a different issue with rogers, if im on the phone and simultaneously send a mms it disconnects my call lul.

No, you cannot get 3G on Rogers. Your best option is to sell the device to someone who has Wind Mobile, Mobilicity or T-Mobile and then get a device branded to Rogers, Bell, Telus or AT&T.
