I am not a gold person on anything I own but I would be interest how a person like me could anodize (if that is what you did) my Bold some color. I have done red and Yellow on a tool we make BUT we send those out and the parts are bigger so not sure how to get it done.

im not sure why everyone who jailbreaks their phone or changes the stuff on it says their warrenty is voided why would you even tell them that you changed something on your phone you can always say you LOST it and theyll replace it... lol

theres a sticker on most devices, when removed voids the warranty, which is needed to be taken off to access the screws

The warranty RIM provides for defects does not cover a lost phone. That would be insurance, if you have it...

As long as you like it that is what matters. As for my opinion, I hate gold so that isn't my style. However, the actual job looks to be good with no obvious flaws, judging from that picture.

every phone you buy comes with a one year warrenty on it wether you buy an extended warrenty is up to you
