I am having a problem with the Bold 9900 that it blocks one of the stereo channels. When I upgrade the OS I have the two channels working normally, as expected. But after I have to reboot or make a battery removal, or when after upgrading, apps like AppWorld or BBProtect ask me to reboot, one stereo channel gets blocked.

This is the second phone I have with the same problem (both made in Mexico, factory unlocked). Is this a problem with the Bold9900? (It does not matter where it was made, because my previous BB, a Curve 9300 3G is also made in Mexico and it is the best BB that I have ever had!)

I am considering doing a total wipe using the BBSAK and reinstalling the OS, but I am hesitant because I have not used the BBSAK ever before.

I cannot imagine that RIM is trying to convince anyone to subscribe to the BB Music when their "top-of-the-line" model is presenting such a grave issue to any music enthusiast.

One again, can anyone offer any help?
