is there a way to make my VZ 9930 usable on at&t. i have a an extra line available on at&t not due to cancel so i want to use the bb. let me know if possible. If its possible how would i do it.

I would like to know too. I have my Verizon 9930 unlocked. I don't have a need to have a line on AT&T just curious if it will work...

Yes, it will work..just put your AT&T sim card in and change network settings for GSM. It will only get EDGE though. I have an unlocked one that I use on AT&T at times and it actually runs good on EDGE imo..speed seems comparable to what my 3G 9700/9800 were.

ok, sooooooo do you switch back and forth between ATT and Verizon with your 9930? I have an ATT work phone and would love to be able to pull that off!

Well, I have my own unlocked 9930, and work got me a 9930(on verizon) but for right now I'm using my 9810 on AT&T.

For grins, I put my work ATT sim card in my Verizon 9930 phone. It worked just fine!

Awesome! I was surprised how well my unlocked 9930 worked on AT&T even on EDGE.

With work, I have just a basic plan (no data), but I have tested talk and text with my 9930, and they both work fine.

What is interesting is that I have a better signal in my house with my BB than my work phone. I like!
