I have been using my HTC One since October 2013, prior to that I was using the Q10. The reason I left the Q10 was due to general boredom with the device. 2 weeks ago my HTC decided to cease working. During the time it was away for repair I was using my old 9700 device. The best thing about the 9700 was the keyboard and the battery life. In the past I have used the 8900, 8520, 9000, 9700, 9780, 9900 and the Q10. So I always seen to revert back to BlackBerry but only for the keyboard! I am considering moving back to the 9900 after blackberry have revealed they will continue to support the device and even rerun them. What keeps you with the 9900? Have you left and then returned to the device?

i moved to Blackberry from Android when Z10 was launched last year nice phone
still using it, wanted to try keyboard but Q10 still way to expensive in UK,
then had a chance to buy a second hand Bold 9900 and the keyboard is great
now addicted to it, and it has worked without any problems no battery pulls and it lasts a full working day and is now my main phone, accessories are available and cheap,
personally it does what i need and the track pad/ buttons are one of the reasons i like it, and might buy a new one if available here, until the Q20arrives with track pad etc.
it's the best phone for me, i have no regrets in buying and using my Bold 9900.via the Android CrackBerry App!

I moved to a 9900 recently. Why? I like physical keyboards, and I like how it looks. It's an objet d'art. The OS is simple and practical, although it's a toss up as to whether I like BBOS or WebOS on my HP Pre3 better. They're both well-designed OSes.

You mentioned "general boredom with the device" in relation to the Q10. I suspect that you'd get bored with the 9900 fast. If you want endless apps, roms, and something to tinker with, Android is probably a better choice. For hacking fun, nothing beats a handset well supported by the XDA-Developers community.

I can't see how the 9900 would be anymore interesting then a Q10. Maybe less efficient and slower lol no offense, but I just don't get it...
