I think it's time to overwhelm TMO with calls demanding enabling NFC. They made such a big stink about it when they launched (first!) the 9900 in the U-S....this is effectively bait-and-switch. I bought this phone for just that reason....I could have gotten another year or two out of my 9700...but I've since given that one to my son-in-law.
