I have had my Torch since November and am on Rogers. I want to upgrade to a Bold 9900, but I am obviously not at the 30 month upgrade point yet. Will I have to buy the phone straight up and sell my Torch? Or can I pay the 20$ a month for each month before 30 (eg. 9 months used, 21 months away from 30. 21x20 = $420). Any help is greatly appreciated.

I say you should just walk in there tmrw and tell them you'll buy full retail. And next year when bb releases a new phone you can do the early upgrade thing so you can save some money. Im on month 26 and just have to pay 80 bucks for the 4 months

By the way, about the BlackBerry trade-up program would be good to use; it says my trade-in value of my Torch would be $170 towards a new BlackBerry. Would I then be able to use that credit to buy from Rogers? Or do you think I could get more for selling my Torch on Kijiji and buy the phone full retail?
EDIT: If I sell my Torch, would I still be able to redeem the early upgrade in 2012 or no?
