Default How often do you battery pull?

It seems that I do it less and less these days. I used to do it twice a day before due to various issues.

The OS has gotten very functional.

Haven't done one yet on this one, though to be fair I've had it only for a bit more than a week. Have used the reset app twice, though probably not out of necessity.

I do a battery pull maybe once or twice a week or when I have to swap out batteries. I just went 5 days without a single reboot.

    I agree... much more functional.

I do a SHIFT+ALT+DEL 2-3x/week. Pull battery when I take off my OtterBox Commuter case to clean once a month or so.

Maybe once every other week or so? Basically, hardly ever. VERY stable OS, this is...

I do one a day, but that's because I use my Bold 9900 so much I change batteries halfway through the day.

I've got my reset app (DeReset) set to reboot at 5:00AM every day. I haven't NEEDED to do so during the day for several months on 7.1.0.580, but I feel better knowing it was done...which is more a symptom of my OCD than of the OS requiring it....

Pulling the battery out every day or two is not a good idea over time it might be possible your battery door no longer fits...

When the phone locks up, about once every 6 weeks. Its usually a freebie I couldn't resist.

I'll usually do a restart on the phone just before I get ready to charge it which is about every 3 days. So at least twice a week I restart my 9900

I did about three battery pulls since I got my 9900, which is now almost six months ago. Two of them mostly out of curiosity, one because the device actually crashed badly.

However I do the reset combo alt+rshift+return about once a week, sometimes less.

Once a week on Friday night. Why? Because on Friday I take it out of the Seidio protecting case and use it naked for the weekend. It is a habit more than a need.

Very rarely. Only pull if an app install or delete requires it or occasionally an app plays up.

I don't do battery pulls. I do soft resets every 2 days more or less, due to the number of applications I have installed in my 9900. I usually have 10 applications running.

I do it once everyday, since I have to swap it with my extra battery if the power is low.

That's crazy. You have to pull the battery for the OS to keep running smooth...!?

Never. I only restart when I uninstall apps or anything else that requires me to. And what's great is that a reboot takes my 9930 literally 60 seconds! Quite an improvement over 10 mins on my Tour 9630 haha!

Nope...not for me. And I am a very heavy user. This is BlackBerry 7, where you don't need to clear the memory often. There is plenty of RAM and the processor can definitely handle everything.

I soft reset twice a day to give myself more memory. The leaking with my phone is terrible still. Batt pull whenever I feel like it...maybe once a week.

    Today's memory drop...78.8MB in 17hours

By reading the posts the impression I have come to isMost folks are not doing it for the OS to run smoothly. They are saying everything is running great with there phones. The older BB had less memory and would bog down fast if you used it a lot.
