My guess is that they can call the US for free as long as they are on their carrier's signal. I doubt roaming is included in that.

I certainly hope you make good use of that unlimited data - that's more than I pay for two cell phones, home phone and internet.

If I were to pay that for my phone I'd have to use at least 20GB per month...

I had that for a while with Wind in Vancouver, but the coverage sucks. Great customer service, though!

Now, I'm on a CityFido plan with Canadian long distance included. 500mb BB data plan, with all the frills........ $70 per month.

I'm trying to get it for $65...

    Does $85 sound fair?
That's a great deal - @ 85...go for it! I know a few others who have that same deal @ that same price. I got mine from Bell on a Corporate deal, and it was 95.00. I had an ongoing 50% monthly credit for years, which they agreed to extend through this new deal, but your Robbers deal is better, albeit, their coverage and service isn't quite as good as Bell/Telus.

I can't speak to coverage, as I don't spend a whole lot of time outside of Ottawa (and coverage is great there), but as for service, I've never had any issue whatsoever with the service Rogers provides. What exactly makes Telus/Bell better?

coverage in toronto is usually quite good, although my house seems to be a death trap for signal strength at times. after being with rogers and telus before, i refuse to be tied into a contract for 3 years , so even with buying the bb outright i still save a truckload of cash
