I put my Bold in my shirt pocket for a couple minutes which I had a piece of foil wrapped chocolate. I pulled my phone out and dicovered the chocolate had melted over a 1/3 of the keyboard. I didn't think I could clean it off. I gave it a soft wipe with a napkin. Still a lot of melted chocolate in between the keys.I used toothpicks split to give a nice sharp fine point and CAREFULLY dug, scraped and scooped it out. Spent like an hour till I couldn't see any more. Works fine! I got lucky. Goes to show that don't panic and you might be able to resolve your issue.

Yes very nice job. I had a key board go bad snd tried to replace it. The hard part I reconnecting the keyboard, which I screwrd up. I have since taken a 9900 6 times. The phone is well made. If keyboard goes bad takes only 2 screws to R & R
