    Default How to enable javascript on bold 9900?

    When i go into my browser options theres a lock symbol beside the enable javascript box and it wont let me check it.

    Does anyone know whats causing this and or how to get it unlocked? Thanks for your help.

    It shouldn't be locked.

    If you have a company phone, your BES admin might have put an IT Policy in place to lock it.

    It's a personal phone. No BES. Any ideas? Should i do another os install or something?

    What OS are you running ?

    That's pretty weird just change your OS see if that works really
    Never experienced that.

    got it figured out. Turned out my phone had an IT policy from the previous owner that was locking it out (despite the phone being wiped). I did a factory refresh and it removed the IT policy so I'm all good now.

    Thanks to everyone who helped offer some hints that got me in the right direction.
