Good call! Given the carbon on the back maybe it"ll be a new Tour.

All joking aside though, we were fooled by the Bold slider that is now the Torch.

It is a good device to use to change the name of the Bold line, given the new features it'll have.

While there is always the chance that they might use it to launch a new brand, it would seem slightly odd to cast aside the Bold brand that is a strong one and doesn't have negative connotations like Tour or Storm.

Actually that looks more like the generic "Brand" logo that we've seen on prototypes doesn't it?

But even so, all the leaked slides, renders show it to be a Bold.

That clearly says "brand"...well not clearly, but still.
It seems whenever a new device is coming out it gets called a bold______. ie bold slider=torch, bold flip=style (horrible name btw) This is the "bold touch" maybe because it has a bold keyboard, as opposed to the curve keyboard, but probably won't carry the bold name. Maybe they will come up with something decent for this, or just call is the magnum like was rumoured years ago.

I donno, BGR reported that it would carry the Bold name:

The BlackBerry Dakota is the creme de la creme of the 2011 BlackBerry family, and it will carry the Bold name.

It definitely fits the form factor of the Bold series. I saw pictures of at least 2 other leaks that said 'Brand' on the reverse, also.

I could care less what they call it, I rename my phones anyway, yea I know I'm strange. BLACKBERRY should distribute this"TOUCH THING" to all of the carriers like they did the 8300 series. Now that would be NICE
