I'm trying to organize my photos with folders but when I add a picture to a folder it makes a copy back into the picture library. Is there any way I can do this without making a copy?
Also when I try to delete the original picture from the original folder it deletes the one in the new folder.

The picture library is the main folder so it will always copy to there. There is no way around this. And yes if you delete from the main picture library it will delete it in the folder you have created.
