After reading and deleting messages from my phone, the actions are not carrying over to the Hotmail server side. Some make it to the deleted-trash folder, while the others remain in the inbox folder as both read(lighted out) and unread(bold). Later on that day or the next, those messages that remained on the Hotmail inbox are resent to my phone. The only fix for me is to log into Hotmail and do a manual cleanup. This has been happening a lot lately so I find myself being forced to do this more. Hotmail is not accepting an issue report for this yet, and any feedback is not guaranteed to be answered by support.
Things I've tried to fix this issue:
-made sure wireless reconcile was enabled, delete on mailbox and handheld
-deleted and re-setup email account on phone, resent service books, re-registered host routing table(phone company instruction)
-battery pulls
-on Hotmail inbox options, I enabled the POP option to allow another device to delete messages
Unfortunately, this email issue still acts up several times per week. Has anyone been given or found a solution?
