help needed - should i stay or should i go

Hi all. For several months I've been planning on moving over to android, specifically the Galaxy S3. However now the time has come and I have the money to spend but I'm having second thoughts. My current device is the Curve 9300 but I'm thinking of maybe sticking with Blackberry and going for a 9900 bold instead of the s3. I just don't know what I want to do, I'm completely lost haha. Just looking for some thoughts/opinions anyone has to offer.

"Should I stay or Should I go" .... Sounds like a song to me (grin) but seriously if you do switch to the Galaxy S3 ... Post it back here, for some reason beyond my comprehension my hubby is interested in one of those, so it would be interesting to see how you fare out.

Test drive both before you decide. Of course you should go with the 9900, but if you ask a question like this on a BlackBerry forum... expect an answer like 9900. Try before you buy.

Gs3 gets old. Too big and touch screens only suck too imo.

I have a brand new gs3 in the box that I'm trying to sell because I no longer like it. The apps and features are nice, but the phone is too big man. I don't need a million apps that I never use and who needs a plazma screen in their pocket? Lol

Do what you want like I did. You may love the gs3.

I just got the S3 today in white after canceling my lumia 920 reservation. I love the 9900 but I have to say the s3 is an amazing device. If you use alot of data like over 3gb then its nice to have a device like the s3 (don't really wanna call it a phone). Also in today's age we are making less calls and browsing more so it makes sense to have a device that does the browsing bit best but also has phone capabilities. And the widgets are pretty awesome, welcome relief from the iPhone squares. The worst part is they keyboard lol the 9900 blows it out of the water.

I still love my 9900 and plan on using it, but the s3 is just spectacular device to have especially if you browse heavily on the mobile. And don't call me a fan boy because im not.

Oddly I put my 9900 on top of the s3 and it isn't that much bigger than the bold lol, I'm no fan boy I have all sorta of gadgets.

the Bold 9900 and 9930, are great phones, it depends on what you want, BB10 looks really good but that is still aways away.

GS3 huge? Ha... Try that Samsung Ñote thing. My friend has one and I always tell her: "seriously, leave your laptop at home!" or" how does it feel to hold your laptop up to your ear". That thing is ridiculous.

I wouldn't buy a new BlackBerry 7 device at this point in time to be honest. I own the Bold 9930, it's great, but it just that BB10 is right around the corner and in as little as 2 months you would be kicking yourself in the @ss for not waiting. My advice would be to hold that money and stay loyal with the Curve for those 2 months and buy a BB10 device.

I recommend a curve 9360, since you have the 9300, it would be a bargain and if you grab the BB10 phone when it comes out, you'll have a spare in case something goes wrong (damage, theft, filesystem, etc.) And you'll be glad.

But seriously, there are hundreds or maybe even thosands of these threads. Doesn't hurt to take a look.
