Just wondering on the popularity of this phone. After being out for over a month now I am wounding, has anyone else spotted this phone being used by anyone else?
I travel weekly and find myself sitting at a hotel bar or restaurant, a late night businessy environment. I see a lot of old Bolds and Curves but no one with a new one. A few strangers have asked about my phone. I let them play with it for a bit and they love it. Most say that they are due for an upgrade but didn't know there was anything new available ( in BBs). It seems such a shame to me that people are using these old phones thinking that they are the best BB has to offer.
i have two people in different classes at my university that have one. my grandpa was on a plane coming home from Aruba and a newly engaged man saw his 9930 and was all over it and wanted to play around with it, he even took it up to his fianc so she could see and he said they both want to get one now.
I just saw one while out to lunch in West Hollywood. He had it on the table or in his hands the whole time I was there. Something about it laying on a flat surface, really brings out its beauty.

That's what she said.
I have not seen another one besides mine yet. ****, I rarely even see another BlackBerry. There are only two other users left in my company besides me. Everyone else has gone Android.
Thailand=9900x2 and a 9810
Kazakhstan=9810 in the airport, dude had a Cunucks shirt on, Canadian ya think.
Canada=9900x3 and a 9810
their out there for sure!
Not one 9900 in Russia yet (nor any other OS7 device, for that matter). Though I have noticed many rocking the 9000, maybe its a form factor thing, the 9900 I have makes me notice it more.
Working downtown I have seen a bunch of them, even got to see about 4 business man playing with their 9900s. Im guessing by the way they were looking, those 9900s were brand spanking new. Makes me want my own.
I and three other friends are using it. I haven't traveled much since it was released. I only know that I'm using it a lot more now to do online banking and everything else.
I hope RIM are fixing the Agent string of their browser.
I saw one just a few days ago somewhere..they walked right in front of me and were talking on it. When they walked by, I started smiling..lol..call it BB pride..
