HELP NEEDED!!! my group text/sms has or are being limited to 100 contacts now, is there a way around this or an app that u have used that has been effective and actually reaches all your contacts of a 500+ or 1k+ contact group? HELP NEEDED!!!

All I can think of is GroupMe, but that isnt ideal for your situation. That is mainly for your friends to all join and its more of a group chat room.

This has been an annoying OS limitation for a while. I know a few people still carrying OS5 devices just because of this because those particular devices still let you text 1000+ contacts.

I would prefer to use an app anyway. sometimes I change my phone# and when I send a group text to 20 people, at least 3 or 4 of them say they never got it. Thats just my opinion though. I have tmo service.

Just curious, but why would you need to mass text 1000+ people?? Besides to let them all know you changed your number.

I was thinking the same thing. I have a friend that is a club promoter and he sends out a mass text to like 400 people. I quickly told him to remove me from said list haha

There is an App called Bulk Messages in App World for $5.99 that will do what you are asking.
