Hi guys, its the holiday period for me and I am planning to go over to Germany for a 3 week holiday. I am just wondering if there are any folks out there in Germany that know which carrier has BIS on their prepaid line?

Just did a search on google and there are 2 operators who offer prepaid BIS: Vodafone and Telefonica (O2). You can read about it here: Prepaid and Postpaid Plans for Blackberry Internet Service (BIS) in Germany | Phone Guide Germany

From there, move on to Vodafone Germany website and O2 Germany website for more information:

I was using Vodafone BiS when I was in Germany , good service y'know ... But you need your device unlocked , unless you've bought the phone from a store and paid full price like mine.
