    Default Gmail not deleting online

So I delete on the phone but it does not delete the emails online and in fact at times the same email I delete will come back as new after a few minutes.

    What is going on?

Am I the only who who loves this option!? I like to delete emailed on my BlackBerry but still have them saved on my gmail on the Dell. This way I can do an advanced search on the BlackBerry if I need to see a "deleted" email.

    Love this feature!

No, you're not the only one. I purposely delete some messages from my device but leave them in Gmail. Sometimes I'll get tricky and label, then archive a message first before deleting it from my device. ~ecm

If I am deleting an email it is because I don't want it anymore, personally.

Why is that same email coming back a few minutes later as a new email?

Sounds like you need to check some settings. Under the setup wizard go into email settings. Select the Gmail account. Look under the synchronization settings and make sure "Deleted Items" is checked.

Then open your "Messages" app. Look under options and "Email Reconciliation". For your Gmail account make sure wireless reconciliation is selected. Make sure it is set to delete on device and mailbox. Set the on conflict setting to "device wins".
