I just blacked out a 9700 I had and really liked it. For a 9900 I prefer the brushed aluminum look though, this things looks perfect to me. I've seen pics a guy posted of a blacked out 9900 and it looked great but sounds like a bit more complicated on the 9900 then the 9700.
