I have a few video files that I wanted to get off the device memory and onto the media card.

How does one go about doing this?

Also how can I make sure future videos are recorded and stored on the card and not the device?

You can use a third party file browser like File Manager Pro or Filescout, and probably use the built in file browser or maybe BB Desktop Software.

Just hook up your USB cable to your computer and transfer the files from your device to the media card.

I too prefer this method.
-Connect to PC
-give the phone a few seconds and it will show up as 2 drives
-open a second windows explorer and open one of the drives then just drag and drop between the windows.

You can also open the Files Folder icon/file folders/device/home/user/videos. Highlight the video, press menu copy. Hit the back button 4 times, select Media card/Blacberry/videos, then press menu/paste. Its a lot easier than it sounds. but you won't need anything else to do it.
