Getting a 9930 tomorrow..What should I change.
Is there anything I should update , delete or change out of the box?On verizon.
I have been using a 9650 for the past 2 years.
Thank you. - 03-25-2012, 07:02 PM #2
Personally I'd leave it how it is for a week or two so when you do come to update etc you'll see for your self the improvements.
If you jump straight into the latest OS then from the get go that'll just be the norm.
I'm sure some here may have different views.
You're gonna really like ya Bold btw

I would download the latest 7.1 with battery saving mode and dnla, also delete all languages you don't need gives you more application storage. You are in for a treat best phone I ever touched.

You should update to the 9930 7.1.0.267 right away and shrink the garbage out asap (Why waste the time in waiting???". This is a VG build and has the "battery saving mode" option but it just lowers the obvious battery sucking settings when it's set on. I would also invest in a GENUINE extra JM-1 1230mAh battery and you will last all day and more with no battery issues. Don't get sucked in to buying those crappy gold "extra mAh batteries", TOTAL rip off. Just my opinion, but not to sound cocky at all, I think it's an educated one...
