Getting a 9900
I am considering picking up a 9900 since i'm tired of my boring iPhone 4S and was wondering where you would recommend I purchase it from? I'd considered trading someone my 4s for a 9900 he got from Bell but i'm not sure how the warranty would work. Where would you buy it from to play it safe?

Not to sure about warranty however it's a good trade since u won't be out any money. I've seen on Kijiji the 4s trade for a 9900 and a playbook so keep an eye out.

Yah, I've seen some on Kijiji, I'm just a bit nervous about getting a bum 9900 with the weird reboot issue. It's happened to a buddy of mine so I'm just concerned is all. Thoughts?

Just got my new 9900 and loving it. os 7.1 is pretty slick! I followed gees97's advice and kept the iphone just in case but looks like all is well.
Only paid $220 for the 9900 in mint condition, pretty awesome price. woot! - 09-19-2012, 12:10 PM #7
For future reference, if you get a phone branded to your carrier, they will typically warrant it if the in service date is in their system.
