Tonight I realized that the bottom of the phone has a gap. I'll try to take a picture of it tonight as soon as I get ahold of my PlayBook.

It's located on the bottom on the phones aluminum part for the bottom connector plate (not sure what it is called).

I tried to pinch it shut with my fingers and was able to get as close as I can but there's still a gap. Is this normal? I tried searching but could not find anything through the mobile browser on my phone. So if there is a thread about this apologize.

It might just be that the phone is warping. How long have you had it?

I bought it from craigslist a week ago brand new in the box. It still had the seal on the box. I do how ever leave my phone on my dash when I drive. That may be the issue.

Are you talking about the antenna? Some 9900s will have a minor gap but it shouldn't be hardly noticeable.

Do you mean that connecting plate for the desktop charging-station right at the very bottom of the aluminium bezel? If so then my connecting plate (or however you call this thing) ain't completely aligned with the bezel too. Actually I had a number of 9900s in my hand and this appeared on all of them. I guess this would be the normal state.
