Found a white 9900 from bell mobility

Hey guys, I found a white Blackberry Bold 9900 from Bell Mobility. I found it while raking the leaves. It was face down and my rake scratched the back (whoops) i picked it up and noticed it said "Enter password (last attempt)" It seems that someone tried to type in a password multiple times and threw the phone?? Anyways, i brought it inside my house and my gf tried a password which obviously didnt work and now the phone wiped itself.

I would really like to find the original owner and give it back but is that even possible?

I would suggest taking it to a Bell store. Bell should be able to locate the owner.

Thank you for your honesty. If I were in the rightful owner's shoes and got the "we found your phone" call from Bell, I would be very happy.

I do hope the original owner has a recent back-up to restore to his phone.

Just an update. Had my friend look up the Sim info and called them personally on their home phone. The kid came to pick up his phone the next day :)

Another Update. The mother of the kid brought me a pot of poinsettias :)
