Hi everyone! Jim here from the Philippines. I bought a refurbished 9930/Sprint unlocked here in Manila, but unfortunately it broke down after just two months of happy use. Technicians saw that its flex cables were damaged and they need a new flex cable to have it fixed. But these spare parts are hard to come by in our country. I decided to park my BB there in the repair shop until either they or I could find a flex cable to repair it with.

It also has "Activation Required", but I'll be worrying about that once I get the flex cable issue fixed.

Does anyone here have a treasure trove of these things so I could have my 9930 back from the repair shop? I miss it so bad!!!

well there are different flex cables on the 9900/9930.. the lcd uses a flex cable the keypad the trackpad.. the bezel is connected to the motherboard by a flex cable..so unless they tell you what you need is pretty hard to know..

Every flex cable is attached to a part and can't be sold separately. You need to buy whatever part is attached to the broken cable.

I should have specified which flex cable i need, I need one for the keypad... do u know someone i can order it from? I miss my 9930
